Francesca is a local artist and illustrator with a desire to inspire and impact those that see their work. 

Their journey began from a young age, inspired by a vivid imagination and spurred on by their grandfather, who was an artist and art teacher himself. They spent every available moment drawing and doodling, leading them to study fine arts from Secondary School and eventually went on to graduate from the University of Malta with a Bachelors of Fine Arts (Hons.) in Digital Arts. Although they took a hiatus for a while after Covid, they are back and ready to make their mark in the creative community.

The main themes of Fran’s works are influenced by their emotions, oftentimes leading to expressive works with a lot of hidden symbolism within them. Now more than ever, they use their art as their voice, and aim to use it in order to speak and shed light on themes close to their heart, such as the queer experience, the current state of the world, and their own personal struggles and joys.
