ABOUT ME
Francesca is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist based in Malta with a love for art, and a desire to inspire and entertain those that see her work. ​Graduated from the University of Malta with Bachelors of Fine Arts (Hons.) in Digital Arts, as well as having a Professional Diploma in UX Design, she is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Tipico whilst pursuing other creative ventures in her free time. ​Her current dream is to one day write and illustrate her own book.

Chiaroscuro – an exhibition of paintings, conversations between darkness and light

Three Palaces Festival, Festivals Malta
My painting, a recent self-portrait, was chosen to be exhibited as part of the Three Palaces Festival exhibition, held at the Grandmaster's Palace. This achievement marks a new era in my practice after a long creative hiatus.

Café Society x Il-Lokal
My work was exhibited as part of the third edition of this group exhibition, hosted at Café Society Valletta and in collaboration with il-lokal, the aim of which was to give a spotlight to emerging artists, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community.

At Tipico, I take care of design on the side of Sportsbook, which includes creating content in the form of online banner advertisements, imagery for CRM and social media, logo creation for new products, as well as leading larger projects such as the redesign of all of the CRM department's communications templates, which involved working with both CRM and Product teams, taking into account their requirements from both ends.

Working with several internal stakeholders, I take pride in managing and upholding the brand image across all platforms, as well as that of our sponsorship partners where applicable within our designs.

In this role, I communicated and collaborated with a creative team made up of marketers, designers and content writers to create high-quality design for clients and occasionally for in-house projects.

At GCS Malta, I worked as an in-house designer along with a marketing executive to produce creative content and advertising material for the company. My work there consisted mainly of creating social media content, brochures, branding and short, animated promotional videos, notwithstanding any other creative project that would require a designer on board.
